Richard Wølf, also kwon as WØLF, is a rebellious and creative soul who fuses music, cinema, and story telling into songs.

Singer, songwriter, performer, photographer and music video director, Wølf is a multifaceted figure. Growing up in a family where creativity runs deep –  his father is a multi-instrumentalist guitarist and his mother is gifted in visual arts – Richard nurtured a strong passion for music and acting from an early age.

After earning a degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Bologna, he honed his artistic skills by graduating in 2014 from the prestigious Bernstein School of Musical Theater, led by Shawna Farrell, and the Voice Actor Academy in Florence under Christian Iansante and Roberto Pedicini. Since then, he has worked as an actor, singer, voice actor, and performer in several national productions, continuously refining his craft through masterclasses.

His music career took off with the band Quarto Verso, whose single “Suono Sordo” was selected as the soundtrack for an international RAI International and Direct TV spot, while the track “Mad Society” made it into the TOP 50 of the international playlist Gothic Orgy Vol. VI by DarkTunes Music Group (Germany).

During the lockdown, Richard embarked on a new musical journey, writing his debut album HYBRID and releasing the single “Seeking” in November 2020.

His influences span from alternative rock, folk, post-grunge, and nu metal to cinematic soundtracks and trailer hybrid music, incorporating sound design and visual effects into a distinctive style that remains rooted in his musical theatre background.

Beyond music, Richard has turned his passion for photography and filmmaking into a parallel profession, working as a director, cinematographer, and editor for his own music videos and those of other artists.

With an explosive mix of energy and versatility, Richard Wølf is ready to leave his mark on the international rock scene.
